Jesse Cook Albany Concert reviews
Bleh
I consider it a waste of money, considering the cost of the tickets, ubers to and from Atlanta (the wait for Ubers after) etc. However, the show he put on was super lame, slow, and not what I anticipated. I grew up loving Jesse Cook. I even like his newer stuff.
He started playing his new stuff towards the end and just kept going with the slow power ballads, one after the other. Still a great performer, but just switch up the playlist to have some upbeat songs mixed in with the slower power ballads about political change and injustice. I anticipated grooving and bopping my night away with my girlfriends, but ended up sitting on the ground for 45 minutes waiting for the concert to come to a dreadful end because I was slowly drifting into a depressive state.
